This look closed the show to symbolize the closing of Blake's book. From diagnosis and that idea and wrenching feeling of being married to death, to the flow of emotions and memories, to the moment where it all came to a silent, soul halting, sonic boom. Where the world felt empty for a moment. When he left us to go beyond to a place where pain doesn't exist, and his fear and terror, and doubts and worry are no longer. While we feel a void in our lives, he became a blanket over us as an angel above. Soaring over all of the places he loved so much, and around those he loved so dearly. Seeing beauty only we here on earth can imagine in our dreams.

This show was for him. This show was my way of healing through the art of fashion and through the thing he loved for me. He wanted more than anyone for me to succeed. I can still remember his voice telling me in his final days "you better figure this out little girl,you can't quit" and its the only thing I could hold onto to get through this emotional and mental roller coaster to get to this point. His words telling me not to quit.

I hope for this new label to be a legacy to him that he was cut short on leaving for himself. I hope he saw it and was proud. I hope he touches this with God's help and helps grow it to what it can fully be. I hope it touched you and provoked a sense of emotion, maybe a little pain, maybe a little perspective, and most of all a joy to be found in life's little moments.
